Honda Civic Makeover – From Worn Out to JDM Show Car

Here at Auto Style PPF, we see a lot of cars that need more than just a wrap – they need a full transformation. That was the case with this 2014 Honda Civic that came into our Naperville shop. The owner found us because we have some of the most competitive prices around the suburbs, but also because we have a reputation for restoring and prepping older vehicles before wrapping them.

This Civic had definitely seen better days – peeling and poorly repainted panels, dents across the body, and a cracked bumper. Before laying a single sheet of vinyl, we repaired the damage, smoothed out the panels, and prepped the surface for a perfect finish.

The star of the show was the Matte Green 3M wrap, giving the Civic a completely new identity. To take it up a notch, we wrapped the hood in Avery Dennison carbon fiber vinyl, which gives the impression of a genuine carbon hood.

The end result? A once tired daily driver now looks like a serious JDM-inspired build, ready to turn heads at car meets, shows, and weekend Cars & Coffee gatherings. The owner was thrilled with the outcome, saying it feels like a brand new car without the cost of a full repaint.
